Prize terms & conditions

The prize will be drawn in the week post to the event. The winner will be notified by email and must respond within 48hrs otherwise the prize will be re-drawn. If any product shown in the prize promotion is not available at the time of the event, a similar item of equal value will be provided by the designer. It is a condition of entry that prizes must be collected in person at the event. The prize winner's name will be published on The Big Design Market website, Instagram page, and Facebook page.

Entrants in our competition will receive event updates via our e-newsletter (maximum 12 emails per event). If you don't wish to receive further updates about The Big Design Market, click on the unsubscribe link in the next e-newsletter from us and you will immediately be removed from our mailing list.

Axil Coffee x The Big Design Market 'Almost Winter' - Free Coffee for A Year Competition - Terms & Conditions

Giveaway period: 22nd May 2026 - 11:59pm AEST 24th May 2026.

Promoters: This Instagram giveaway is conducted by Coffee Co-Op PTY LTD (ABN 28 967 234 025) trading as Axil Coffee Roasters ("Axil Coffee", "we", "us", "our") and The Big Design Market Pty Ltd ABN 80 443 946 458

Promotion Period

The promotion commences on 22nd May and closes on 24th May at 11:59pm AEST.  ("Promotion Period").

Eligibility

  • Entry is open to Australian residents who are currently residing in Australia.

  • Entrants must be 16 or older to enter, in compliance with Australian social media regulations.

  • Employees, directors, and contractors of Coffee Co-Op PTY LTD (trading as Axil Coffee Roasters) and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

  • By entering, entrants confirm they meet all other eligibility requirements.

How to Enter

To enter the promotion, entrants must:

  1. To purchase any drink from Axil at the upcoming Almost Winter Big Design Market and post a photo of your cup on your stories 

  2. Follow both @axilcoffeeroasters and @bigdesignmarket 

  3. Like this competition post 

  4. Enter during the aforementioned Promotion Period. 

Entries made outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted. There are no limits to the number of entries. Every purchase made at the Almost Winter Big Design Market and posted on stories equates to one entry. Entries not captured due to privacy settings are void. Image or video must be taken at the Big Design Market - Almost Winter.

Prize Details

The prize consists of:

  • Twelve (12) months supply of Axil Coffee, being one (1) x small coffee per day, with alternative milk of choice or full cream/skim dairy milk.

  • Coffee can be dine in or takeaway, and must be purchased at one of the 17 Axil Coffee locations across Australia.

  • Total prize value: $2,263 approx.

Prize Conditions:

  • The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

  • The prize cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • The coffee order must be from Axil Coffee's current available range.

  • Coffee can be redeemed for 12 months commencing from the day following delivery of the card.

  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.

Winner Selection and Notification

  • The winner will be selected via Instagram Direct Messages upon inspection of captured Instagram story.  

  • The winner will be notified by instagram DM within (2) business days of the draw.

  • The winner must respond within seven (7) days of notification to claim their prize.

  • If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the specified timeframe, or does not meet eligibility requirements, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner by redraw.

  • The winner's name and state/territory of residence may be published on Axil Coffee's website and social media channels.

Prize Delivery

  • The Free Coffee VIP card will be delivered to the winning entrant by postal delivery following the communication of their postal address details. The winning entrant may also wish to collect the Free Coffee VIP card from any Axil cafe. 

  • The winner is responsible for providing accurate delivery details.

  • The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged prizes once delivered.

Privacy

  • Personal information collected will be used for the purpose of conducting this promotion and may be used for future marketing purposes in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

  • By entering, entrants consent to receive marketing communications from Axil Coffee.

  • Personal information will be handled in accordance with Axil Coffee's Privacy Policy available at https://axilcoffee.com.au/pages/privacy-policy-1

  • The Promoter will not disclose entrants' personal information to third parties except as necessary to conduct this promotion or as required by law.

Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by any entrant or winner in connection with this promotion or any prize.

  • The Promoter is not responsible for any technical difficulties, equipment malfunction, or any other issues that may prevent or hinder entry.

  • If for any reason this promotion cannot proceed as planned due to causes beyond the Promoter's control (including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond reasonable control), the Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the promotion, subject to approval from any relevant regulatory authority where required.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who fails to follow Instagram's terms of service or provides false information.

General

  • Entry into this promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  • The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or provides false information.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age, identity, and residency from any entrant or winner.

  • Entrants consent to the use of their name, image, and entry content for promotional purposes without compensation.

  • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

  • Incomplete, illegible, or incorrect entries will be deemed invalid and will not be eligible to win.

  • The Promoter's failure to enforce any of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
